We've got some exciting news: 15 of our scholars are sitting for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. This group is the second cohort from our education scholarship program to sit for the national examination. KCSE is the national examination taken by students in Kenya at the end of their four-year secondary education and is a crucial step for students in determining their eligibility for joining college and university.
We're super proud of these students—they've worked crazy hard. Many of them will be the first in their families to graduate high school and get a chance to access higher education.
We extend our deepest gratitude to you for making this progress possible. Because of you, these students have what they need to shine in school - covering tuition fees, academic trips, mentorship, and providing student care packs - an assortment featuring personal essentials like stationeries, sanitary pads, petroleum jelly, tissue papers, undergarments, shoe polish, and more!
As our students take their exams over the next few days, please keep them in your thoughts and wish them the very best of luck. We are hopeful they will all pass with flying colors! This isn't just about exams; it's about showing that amazing things happen when sponsors like you team up for deserving kids.
Thank you for being the driving force behind this milestone. We are breaking the cycle of poverty, one success story at a time!
