We take great pride in advocating for the rights of the girl child, and women empowerment. We are playing our part in honoring and achieving the Sustainable Development goals specifically goal number 4 and 5 on quality education and gender equality respectively.
The Kenyan girls have rights as much as other children, however, they are most vulnerable to a lack of education. A right to education, a decent living, access to water and proper sanitation and for their sexual and reproductive health needs to be met. When the girl child accesses education, not only do we increase literacy levels in the community, we also empower them as efficient women in the community who will boost socio-economic stability in the community.
At the one chance fund, your donations will be used to buy essential items for the girl child including sanitary towels and other hygiene items, sponsor mentorship and training sessions on different aspects of their lives, address prevalent social cases such as rape, and domestic violence, and advocacy to increase the number of children in schools.
