Silvano Ngacha

Silvano Ngacha is the pioneer and Founder of the organization as well as the vision  bearer.

His life is a thrilling story of turns and twists and rising from grass to grace. He schooled in a children's home in Nairobi out of inability of his parents to educate him due to poverty and lack of opportunities. His life in High school was not a walk in the park. He did not have adequate resources including text books, teachers , food, proper sanitation etc. However, due to his love and passion for education he could only work hard even beyond what was normal. This made him determined in life and through sheer hard work  managed to pass well and got a scholarship to pursue a Bsc. in Computer Science at Egerton University, as a Government Sponsored Student. He is also an alumni of R.E.A.D.

These life experiences made him realize that there was a big education gap between students enrolled in the local and community driven schools compared to those enrolled in boarding schools. As a result, he committed to level the education playing field for needy and vulnerable kids from low-income families. He knows first-hand how important it is, and he isn't going to stop until every child has access to quality education.

He is passionate about children, technology, education and community service. His passion in empowering children has spanned for over 10 years with key milestones like, serving as a volunteer teacher at By Grace Children's home, starting an initiative to setup a modern computer lab and a resource center at By Grace Disabled and Orphans Center, creating students career guidance Forums through which he has managed to assist over 500,000 students in Kenya.

He is driven by a desire to see all children have access to quality education and believes that technology can play a role in making this happen. He also believes in the power of young people and is passionate about helping them find their voice and use it to make a difference in the world. He is a firm believer in God and relies heavily in Christian teaching on love, kindness and compassion to others. For Silvano, it is about making a difference in the world and helping others reach their full potential.

Silvano is now working as an IT manager at Apollo Agriculture , a reputable fintech institution in Kenya. He brings with him his knowledge and expertise in Leadership, Community service and Technology, and is the organization’s engine in research and innovations, including coming up with ideas and solutions to challenges that face the organization.
